This sensational eye-catcher is a real Cold War Soviet primary trainer. The Yak-52 was designed as an aerobatic trainer for students in the Soviet DOSAAF training organisation and was first flown in 1976. This aircraft, registered LY-FOU, was built in 1981 in licence by Aerostar in Romania. The aircraft was completely overhauled in 2012.
LY-FOU has been newly painted in 2012. Colours: Black with red stars.
